Can Christians Eat Pork?

The book of Leviticus has MANY dietary restrictions. Pork, shrimp, and dogs most people know... but also elephants, catfish, and bats.... The questions for us are WHY did these dietary restrictions originally exist, what purpose did they serve as time went on, and what bearing does ANY of that have on us today....

Is it always clean and simple? Do we always come up with definitive “the Bible says XYZ” answers? Nope. But if it was, it wouldn’t be worth engaging.
